Gus Carroll

Co-Founder & CEO

Gus has worked in senior leadership roles in high hazard industries for over 20 years and has a passion for helping leaders create high performing teams. Gus was previously Chief Engineer at Centrica and holds degrees in Chemical Engineering and an MBA from Henley.

Peter Sueref

Co-Founder & CTO

Peter has worked with data his whole career since graduating in Computer Science at Cardiff University. He was the Data Science Director at Centrica where he worked on some of the biggest problems in energy today.

Dr. Nyala Noe

Chief Data Scientist

Through her background in social psychology and computer science, Nyala has developed a particular interest in using networks to make sense of complex data. After completing her PhD at Cardiff University, Nyala started her career as a data scientist and eventually joined Empirisys as one of it's founding employees.

David Renton

Technical Services Director

David has over 15 years of senior leadership experience in high-hazard industries. He has a keen interest in specializing in risk management, safety leadership, and workforce engagement. David is passionate about developing positive safety cultures and delivering practical HSE solutions.

Iain Conn

Chairman of the Board

Iain was CEO of energy company BP before he became CEO at Centrica and was on the board of directors of the energy giant for a number of years. His responsibilities included safety, operational risk, and information technology at BP. Iain is now a senior advisor for infrastructure, energy and sustainability at Blackstone and has recently been elected as chair of Engineering UK

Ken Robertson

Advisor

Ken is an experienced director with a demonstrated history of working at senior level in the global energy industry. He is skilled in asset management, process safety and is a Non-Executive Director to the Health & Safety Executive.

Kevin D'Arcy

Advisor

Kevin is a Non-Executive Director and investor in several startups. He is an experienced Chief Financial Officer in FT100 businesses including energy, consumer and financial services. He currently chairs the audit & risk committee of one of UK’s largest pension funds.

David Bleackley

Advisor

David is a chemical engineer with over 30 year’s experience across the process industries with significant leadership roles in enterprise industrial software organisations focused on Design, Operations and Supply Chain Optimisation.
